What we confirm before work begins

Court documents and dispute bundles
Send the complete pleading, judgment, evidence bundle or expert report together with the filing instruction. An index helps identify which annexures belong to the requested scope.
Names, case numbers, dates, figures and repeated defined terms should remain consistent across connected documents. If only part of a bundle is requested, the lawyer or receiving court should identify that scope.

Contracts and defined terms
Contracts often repeat defined terms, cross-references, schedules and tables. Send the complete agreement so those terms can be handled consistently from the first page to the last.
If the parties already use an approved bilingual glossary or earlier agreement, include it as a reference. Translation reproduces the document; it does not provide legal advice on whether a clause is suitable.
Power of Attorney and notary submission
Identify the notary, private-notary platform or other receiving party before ordering. Their instruction determines the language, bilingual layout and supporting-document requirements to check.

Corporate documents and connected files
A corporate submission may combine a Memorandum of Association (MOA), commercial licence, board or shareholder resolution, registry extract and Power of Attorney. Send the connected set if names, shareholding or authorised-signatory details must stay consistent.
Free-zone, mainland, bank and overseas-recipient instructions can differ. Name the recipient and share its checklist rather than assuming one certification format fits every use.
Translation, certification and attestation are different
Translation changes the language. A translator or company stamp identifies the provider and credential. Attestation is a separate process applied to the original or another official document.

Law firms and multi-document matters
For a litigation or transaction file, send the document index, target language, filing sequence, terminology references and deadline. A complete view prevents annexures or later-added documents from being omitted from the quote.

What is legal translation?
Legal translation is the translation of a document for a legal, official or rights-related purpose. The document type alone does not decide the credential: the receiving party's instruction determines whether an MOJ legal-translator stamp, a translation-company stamp or another deliverable is required.
Do I need an MOJ legal translation or a company stamp?
Use an MOJ legal translation when the receiving party explicitly requests MOJ, legal-translator or UAE legal translation. Use a company-stamped translation only when the recipient confirms that a company stamp is sufficient. If they wrote only ‘certified’, ‘sworn’ or ‘authenticated’, ask what must appear on the final document.
My document was translated abroad. Can I submit that version?
Send the existing translation and the recipient's instruction before ordering another version. A foreign translation may be useful as a reference, but the receiving party decides whether its translator credential and format satisfy the submission.
Does the original document need attestation before translation?
Translation and attestation are separate processes. Follow an attestation route only when the receiving party has confirmed it is required. If UAE MOFA attestation is required, complete it first and translate the final stamped document afterwards.
Can you handle a court bundle or a long contract?
Yes, after the complete file is reviewed and the required language pair and credential are confirmed. Send the index, exhibits, annexures and any terminology references so the quote covers the actual scope.
Can an urgent legal document be translated?
Send the complete file, recipient and exact deadline. We confirm availability and a realistic delivery time before payment; urgency cannot be assessed from the page count alone.
How is legal translation priced?
There is no universal price for legal documents. The quote depends on the full word count, language pair, document complexity, required stamp, formatting and deadline. We confirm the scope and quote after reviewing the complete file.
