The first decision

Which credential did the recipient request?

“Certified”, “sworn”, “legal” and “authenticated” can mean different things. Ask what must appear on the final document.

MOJ or legal translation requested

MOJ legal-translator stamp

Send the document and instruction. We confirm the supported language pair and legal-translation scope.

Company-certified accepted

Translation-company stamp

Choose this only when the receiving organisation confirms that a company credential is sufficient.

Instruction unclear

Ask before ordering

Share the exact wording or a screenshot. We should not guess the required credential from one label.

For a fuller comparison, read MOJ versus company-stamped translation.

OnlineTranslation.ae pencil infographic showing four distinct Dubai recipient routes—Dubai Courts, DIFC, a notary or private platform, and an authority, company or adviser—and the instruction needed before choosing a translation output.
Dubai is not one filing route. Name the exact recipient and share its written instruction before ordering.

One complete WhatsApp message

Send these five things

  1. 1. Every page and attachment
  2. 2. Source and target languages
  3. 3. The receiving party
  4. 4. Its written requirement
  5. 5. The real submission deadline

A portal screenshot or written instruction is more useful than a general request for “certified translation”.

The practical process

Three steps before work begins

1

We review the full file

Pages, attachments, visible stamps, language and file quality are checked together.

2

We confirm the deliverable

The recipient, credential, translation scope, format, quote and timing are confirmed.

3

You approve before payment

Work starts only after the scope and delivery arrangement are clear.

Who provides the stamp?

A named provider, not a vague badge

OnlineTranslation.ae handles enquiries, file coordination and delivery. When a UAE Ministry of Justice legal translation is required, fulfilment is provided through Arkan Legal Translation under MOJ License #701.

The licensed translator is Khaled Mohamed Abdeltawab Aladl. Review the translator profile and credentials page before ordering if you want to verify who will certify the work.

More detail, only if you need it

Dubai legal-translation guidance

These sections preserve the detailed guidance without putting it in the way of the first decision.

Court documents and dispute bundles

Send the complete pleading, judgment, evidence bundle or expert report with the filing instruction. An index helps identify the exhibits and attachments included in the requested scope.

Names, case numbers, dates, figures and repeated terms should stay consistent across connected documents. If only part of a bundle is required, ask the lawyer or receiving body to identify that scope.

Use the litigation translation guide for court files or the RDC page for rental disputes.

Power of Attorney and notary submission

Name the notary, private-notary platform or other recipient before ordering. Its instruction determines the language, layout and supporting-document scope to review.

Translation and drafting are different services. If the POA still needs to be written or revised, say so before the translation scope is confirmed. See the POA document guide.

Contracts and corporate documents

Contracts may repeat defined terms, cross-references, schedules and tables. Send the complete agreement and any approved glossary or earlier bilingual version used by the parties.

A company submission may combine a memorandum, licence, resolution, registry extract and Power of Attorney. Share the connected set when names or authorised-signatory details must remain consistent. Browse the contract guide.

Dubai Courts, DIFC, ADGM and other recipients

Do not assume that one language or credential works for every court or forum. Name the exact recipient and share its instruction before the translation path is chosen.

Translation reproduces the source document. It does not provide legal advice on jurisdiction, enforcement, filing strategy or whether a clause is suitable.

Translation and attestation are separate

Translation changes the language. A translator or company credential identifies the provider. Attestation is a separate process applied to an original or another official document.

If the recipient has confirmed UAE MOFA attestation is required, complete MOFA first and translate the final stamped document afterwards. Read the attestation-first explanation.

Price, urgency and delivery

Length, language pair, complexity, formatting, credential and deadline affect the quote. Send the complete file so the scope does not change after work begins.

An urgent request still needs a file review. We confirm availability and realistic timing before payment rather than promising a fixed turnaround from the page count alone.

Use the pricing hub for fixed-price examples and WhatsApp for a legal-file quote.

Online service and current visit options

Most first reviews can begin with a clear scan, photo or PDF sent online. The required physical or digital deliverable is confirmed as part of the quote.

Read the online translation workflow or use the contact page for current visit, collection and communication options.

Not sure what the recipient means?

Send the wording before ordering

We will confirm whether the request points to an MOJ legal-translator stamp, a company stamp or a separate attestation step.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our translation services.

What is legal translation in Dubai?

It is a translation prepared for a legal or official use in Dubai. The receiving court, notary, authority, company or adviser should identify the required language, credential and format. The document label alone does not decide the correct stamp.

Do I need an MOJ legal translation or a company stamp?

Use an MOJ legal translation when the recipient explicitly asks for MOJ, UAE legal translation or a legal-translator stamp. Use a company-stamped translation only when the recipient confirms that it is sufficient. If the instruction says only “certified”, ask what credential must appear on the final file.

Does every document submitted in Dubai need Arabic translation?

No universal rule covers every recipient and document. If the receiving party accepts the source language as issued, translation may not be needed. Share its written requirement before ordering.

Does attestation come before legal translation?

Translation and attestation are separate steps. Follow an attestation route only when the receiving party confirms it is required. If UAE MOFA attestation is required, complete it first and translate the final stamped document afterwards.

How long will my legal translation take?

Send the complete file, required language, recipient and deadline. We confirm availability and a realistic delivery time after reviewing the actual scope. Page count alone is not enough for a reliable timing promise.

Can I order without visiting an office?

Yes. Send the complete file and recipient requirement by WhatsApp. We confirm the scope, credential, quote and delivery arrangement before payment. Use the contact page for current visit and collection options.

What if the recipient raises a concern?

Send the exact comment, portal message or marked page. We review whether it concerns a translation error, formatting request, source-document issue or preferred spelling, then explain the appropriate next step.

How is legal translation priced?

The quote depends on the complete word count, language pair, document complexity, required credential, formatting and deadline. We confirm a fixed scope and quote after seeing the complete file.
