Medical translation starts with the document’s real job. A patient sending a report to a new doctor needs a different translation from a healthcare professional preparing credentials for a licensing file. Tell us who will receive the document and what decision it supports before we quote.

Before You Pay: A Medical Document Checklist

Send enough information for an accurate scope instead of paying for work the recipient did not request:

  1. Include every required page. A missing results page, signature page or attachment can change the meaning of the file.
  2. Use a clear, uncropped scan. Handwritten notes, seals, reference numbers and units must be readable.
  3. Confirm the language direction. State whether the recipient needs Arabic, English or another language.
  4. Name the recipient and purpose. A doctor, insurer, employer, court and licensing portal can ask for different formats.
  5. Provide the required spelling. Share the passport, Emirates ID or earlier approved spelling when names must stay consistent across documents.
  6. Send any prior translation or glossary. This helps keep terminology consistent across a multi-document file.

If the receiving organization has not told you whether certification is required, ask before ordering. We can provide translation and arrange MOJ-certified legal translation where needed, but the recipient owns the acceptance requirement. The UAE Ministry of Justice also provides an official translator search.

Medical Reports and Records

For a medical report, the useful brief is simple: source language, target language, recipient and deadline. We preserve names, dates, measurements, dosages and the structure of the source. If handwriting or an abbreviation is unclear, it is flagged for clarification rather than silently completed.

Translation helps the recipient read the document; it does not replace a clinician’s interpretation or medical advice. For treatment decisions, have the receiving healthcare professional review the translated file together with the original.

Healthcare Credentials and Licensing Documents

Healthcare professionals often send a mixed set: a degree, transcript, registration, good-standing certificate and experience letters. Share the exact label used by the receiving portal and any returned comment. That lets us translate the requested document without implying that a new translation will solve a verification, eligibility or portal issue.

Our scope is translation. We do not run DataFlow verification, decide whether a person qualifies for a licence, or submit applications to DHA, DOH or MOHAP. The separate DHA DataFlow translation guide explains how to prepare the translation part of that document journey.

Get a Document-Specific Quote

Send the file through WhatsApp. In the same message, include:

  • the target language;
  • who will receive the document;
  • whether they asked for certification;
  • the deadline; and
  • any spelling that must match an ID or earlier translation.

We will confirm what is in scope, the price and a realistic delivery time after reviewing the actual document.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our translation services.

Can you translate a medical report into Arabic or English?

Yes. Send the complete readable report, target language and intended recipient. We confirm the scope, price and timing after reviewing the file.

Which medical documents can I send?

Common files include medical reports, patient records, discharge summaries, lab and imaging results, prescriptions, vaccination records, medical certificates, degrees, experience letters and good-standing certificates.

Does my medical document need a certified translation?

That depends on the receiving organization and intended use. Ask the hospital, insurer, employer, court or licensing body whether it needs an ordinary translation or an MOJ-certified legal translation. OnlineTranslation.ae coordinates document handling, customer support and logistics; MOJ-licensed partners provide legal translation fulfillment where required.

Is this a DHA, DOH, MOHAP or DataFlow application service?

No. We translate documents; we do not conduct primary-source verification, decide licensing eligibility or file applications with DHA, DOH, MOHAP or DataFlow. If a portal returned a document, send its exact comment so the translation scope can be checked.

What should I send with the medical document?

Send every page that needs translation, the target language, intended recipient, deadline and any spelling that must match a passport, Emirates ID or earlier translation. A clear, uncropped scan helps us quote accurately.

How long does medical translation take?

Timing depends on the document length, language pair, readability, terminology and certification requirement. We confirm a realistic delivery time after reviewing the actual file and current translator availability.

Can I order medical translation online?

Yes. You can send the document for review through WhatsApp, receive the confirmed quote and arrange digital delivery without an office visit.

How should I handle sensitive medical information?

Send only the pages needed for the translation. If your hospital, clinic or organization requires an NDA or specific file-handling terms, raise that requirement before sending the document.
